One of the aspects of Eugene Atget's work that appeals to me strongly are the images that he made in the Parc de St Cloud (and the Parc de Sceaux.) Here we perhaps see most clearly how he chooses his viewpoint and composition, working in a situation that is visually simpler and offers more flexibility than the streets of Paris. But although there are a couple of pictures here where I've very much tried to copy his approach, I'm more interested in my own ways of making pictures in the similar setting.
